Momma has been Downstairs since Before The Sun Came Up This Morning. The first thing Momma said to me was You're Skating On Thin Ice Today Savannah. I don't know what That means but It Sounds Like Fun To Me only Momma wasn't Smiling when she said it.
Momma told me that I Bark Too Much At Nothing During The Night. And Daddy said that I should Save Some Of That Barking for during the Day when Everyone Is Awake. Well I don't Bark At Nothing and when Momma asked me Do You Know What Time It Is Savannah I tried to tell her that Dogs Can't Tell Time because All Time Is The Same and when there's a Noise Outside who cares What Time It Is Anyway.
Daddy said I need Ear Plugs when I'm Sleeping so I don't hear Every Little Thing Outside and Momma said Maybe I should Sleep In The TV Room With Sweet Pea but she didn't see The Look on Sweet Pea's Face when she said That. And being that Sweet Pea is a Cat and he was Here First I don't think he's going to Sit Still For That Idea so Momma should Just Forget About That.
I tried to tell Momma that there are All Kinds Of Noises on the Porch at night. She can't hear the Skunk who Skips Down the driveway or the Raccoon who comes up on the Porch to see if there's Cat Food out there and she doesn't hear the Bats bumping up Against The Windows because they Forget they're Underneath the Porch Roof and then there are the Coyotes which I know that Momma hears but I Never Hear Momma or Daddy howling back at the Coyotes at Night.
When the Trains go by at Night then the Coyotes start to Howl and all the Other Dogs here start Barking and I can Surely Hear That and sometimes I can hear Daddy singing I Hear That Train A-Comin' and then I hear Momma saying Oh Go Back To Sleep before she goes to the Top of the Stairs and tells me You Too Savannah! Go To Sleep!
Everybody here is so Busy worrying about Going To Sleep. There's Too Much going on here All Night and Who Can Sleep when it's Dark anyway. Momma told Daddy that I Slept Like A Rock All Day Long Today and I don't even know what That means and I was Just Too Tired to figure it out.
